Burnsville Family Dental was founded in 1994, by Dr. Ignatius Lee, with a vision of a practice that provides each and every patient with dignity and first-rate dental care. Our dental treatment philosophy is based on the American Dental Association (ADA) endorsed concept of evidence-based dentistry, the utilization of the most up-to-date scientific evidence to guide our decision-making process. Our office and staff create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that we hope ensures our patients the most comfortable and positive of experiences. We are a family-oriented practice, catering to and welcoming patients of all ages. Ignatius Lee DDS MS
owner and dentist of Burnsville Family DentalDr. Lee received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Minnesota in 1984--the same university where he had earlier earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry in 1978, and where he also went on to earn his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Operative Dentistry in 1987. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA). In addition to practicing dentistry at Burnsville Family Dental, Dr. Lee has been a full-time faculty member at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry since 1988. He takes pride in the role he plays, helping to educate, support, and mold tomorrow's dentists into skilled, moral, and responsible professionals. Dr. Lee has had decades of experience in the dental field, and throughout his career, has been dedicated to providing the highest quality of dental care possible. In order to maintain this high level of commitment to excellence, Dr. Lee continues to expand his dental repertoire, enabling him to keep up with the newest evidence-based techniques and technologies in dentistry.
